Who We Are & What We Do

When a person is diagnosed with life threatening diseases like Cancer, the trauma is not only for the patient but for the whole family. If the CANCER is in advanced stage having no curative treatment and Patient is suffering from either severe pain, breathlessness, depression, lack of sleep, anxiety, restlessness, nausea, vomiting, constipation etc. The Primary Doctors have discontinued the curative treatment stating the progressive nature of illness and the family doctors are unable to treat such patients at home or in Hospitals /Nursing Homes. The logistics of providing the continuity of care at Home 24X7 can be very challenging; especially when patients and families would prefer to care their loved ones at home.

This is where…….we respond to your distress call.

Palliative care is a medical specialty focused on treating the pain and physical symptoms, distress of a life-limiting illness of patients and their families. It provides an added layer of support for patients at all ages and at all stages of any life-limiting or advanced disease, irrespective of the prognosis. The core aspect of this care is continued communication and coordination of treatment options to maximize the Quality of Life of your patients, according to the individual patient’s desires and wishes.

Dr. Dhiliwal’s Pain & Palliative Care Services has embraced Palliative Care as a service to patients and their families. Under the direction of Dr Sunil Dhiliwal, the Home-based Palliative Care program has interdisciplinary consultation teams. Patients with complex needs can be cared at Home/Hospital/Nursing Homes.
